Ringmasters - SNOBS

2010 3rd place International Medalists
Active in Sweden performing and encouraging barbershop music
Music they perform is on the edge of the barbershop umbrella. Some think it's evolutionary, others believe it's not barbershop. Somewhat polarizing.
Stylistic website. Not updated (last update 2009).
No recordings in 2010.
Not competing in 2011 due to school priorities.
Website. No FB page.

The appreciation for this young group is escalating fast as the time between performances is getting shorter. With an appearance once or so every week they touch audiences and get the reactions like "so THAT'S what barbershop music is all about!"

They have had their own free shows at schools for young singers.
A big barbershop movement is now growing in what used to be more strict swedish choir-schools with Ringmasters as their inspiration.

The group has performed and participated in interviews in several TV and radio broadcasts in Sweden.

Since they're also very active classical choir singers, people who have never understood barbershop now gets a whole new perspective. As you can see on some YouTube - clips there are rookie barbershoppers singing tags in i.e. South Africa, China, Hong Kong, Latvia, Ireland and Italy with different members of the quartet.
