First competition and they medaled in 2008(4th). Entertaining with big sound. Performed a controversial set in Nashville. Some saw them as heroes.

Others.. not so much. Could hurt them, could help them.

Any quartet with Connelly in it has got to be in the top 25!!

Old School made a STATEMENT in the Finals. It came through loud and clear to the entire BHS. That's power and confidence.

Don't know what kind of "statement" they made in the finals. Aside from the fact that some in the Society believe that we should keep singing songs from the early 20th century. The songs were oldies for those who sang them then, and now that the youth want to do the same thing w/ songs that they consider oldies, everyone is all up in arms. If you can arrange it contain the majority of 7th chords needed for barbershop they my friend I am sorry but you have kept it barbershop. Shame on the KIBBers for being so greedy with their hobby, and trying not to allow the youth in the Society to make barbershop more relevant to them.

With 3 gold medals, Wait that's just the lead, and more district championships than I can count (OK, I did go to public school) and my personal hero Rick Taylor (I knew him before he had white hair) the Bass Beast, and of course Jack Pinto, This quartet has the ability to raise the roof on any structure, and 4 of the greatest guys that enjoy singing with anyone. As a plus Awesome Joe travels around the country coaching abd singing BARBERSHOP,
A runaway favorite for number one in the power rankings.

Yes they made a statement by singing the same "non-barbershop" songs they were complaing about...

Ironic? I think so :)

yup, they sang the same songs, but with less style. not only that, but they weren't nearly as clean as some of the real top quartets.
